There Was A New Kid At Brickeys A Few Weeks Ago. About 25. The (dentist ) Pulled 13 Of His Teeth And They Gave Him A Tylenol For The Pain. ( Unbelieveabel ) Barberic If You Ask Me. Cant Believe They Get By With The Stuff They Do To Inmates.

thats awful could you imagine his pain ... my baby got bitten by a spider once in wrightsville a few years ago and it looked green and was nasty they gave him neosporin ( wow ) that really helped he needed antibiotics and all that .. well he got better b/c he took care of it and cleaned it good but it left a nasty scare .
my cousin is at brickeys and when he went in he had a broken neck and a haylow on well he said where the screws was in his head was all infected and hurt and they gave him tylenol and tole him to wash the infection with soap and water ( he said he was in serious pain and was not taken care off at all )
it is amazing how they get treated no matter why or what there there for there human beings too ....

my husband had all of his teeth removed over a few weeks and he said he would wake up drenched in blood from it.He only got tylenol also. It's inhumane the way the inmates are treated.

I hate to hear that they are treated so bad. They are all human. I'm new to PTO, but have been reading posts for the past couple of days to figure out how the system works and hear from people in the same situations as I am. I'm so glad to have some place to turn to get answers and support. It's so hard. Anyway, I just had a loved one move to Brickeys from the Diagnostic Unit yesterday. He called this morning to see if I could find out about how long they are in their parent unit before transferring to their offender units? Can anyone help me with that answer? He said that Brickeys is disgustingly dirty. He hated the Diagnostic Unit, but said Brickeys is by far worse. We are hoping they move him onto somewhere else as soon as possible so that we can get his programs going and get him home.

This poor guy's loved ones needed to step in. You can call the unit and if nothing is done, call central office. That is totally B.S. no one deserves that kind of pain. A friend of mine her husband has had terrible back pain, and she has been on the unit about getting him help, she got pissed and called central office. He went out to a free world doctor a few days later, and now he's scheduled for back surgery. The thing to remember is we are there loved ones, we are these guy's voice. We have to stand up and fight for them, when they can't or they'd be in trouble. I'm not saying yell and bitch about every little things, but the important stuff does need to be taken care of.
I pray this young man done ok, and is fine now...

Maybe that is why my guy told me he chickened out when he went in to have all his teeth pulled at Brickeys.
