my love one is still in the reception at hdsp in susanville.it is 2 1/2 months and he still didn't get his outdate yet.ladies how long did your love one got his out date while he was in the reception center.can the prison loses their file or i am just inpatient for my love to be home with me.he has 10 months sentence with halftime.he is in a bridging and a work program.he has starting his program in july.he went in june but the doctor didn't want him working.when do i suppose to count his time down for the 5 months?i talk to the prison they are way behind the cases.will he still get out within 5 months.or he has to wait for the intake officer to look at his file.the intake officer told me that his file is on the desk.that was a couple of weeks ago.did anybody is having the same experience or a past experience.i will like your imput on this.thankyou for listening:confused:

Hi There,I am in the very same situation as yourself, My boyfriend is in reception at NKSP, in Delano, CA has only been there for 3 weeks. He was sentenced to 16 months at 50%, he to started the bridging program when he arrived. When I first called reception they offered his projected release date to me of 3/06 which makes perfect sense. Then I call again and they are saying 3/07, which is more time then what he was originally sentenced to in the first place? I spoke to his counselor, ( who hasnt seen him yet) and he said that the info sounds incorrect and they are really not allowed to give that info out, only the inmate can. He said that he wont have a release date until he is out of reception, but the 3/6 date , with the info i told him sounds right! So I figure its all about patience until he meets with his counselor. Hope this helps a little, I know it is so frustrating....Heidi

anyone should be able to call the records dept. and ask for his earliest release date. I did and got them...he can also send in a request to get them too!

I was told the same thing as Heidi M, only the inmate gets that info. Callers aren't told the release date until After the release.

My husband was also in reception at NKSP in Delano and I called the records dept. a couple weeks after he got there and asked and they told me his earliest release date.. I even suggested it to someone else who's boyfriend was there too and she got the info, no problem.

My boyfriend is in Wasco and he just got his release date on friday. He has been in there since June 7th and he says he will stay there for anoth 4-8 mos before a bed is available mainline.
