Ant just wrote and told me that the violence is on the rise at his prison. A guy got stabbed in the neck the morning of the 9th and they also gassed the chow hall at lunch cuz a fight broke out. He said the heat is making the tempers fly. He asked that everyone just keep the inmates in there prayers and on there minds so that there is not to many people killed in the next few months.

VERY DEFINATELY, TELL HIM TO KEEP TO HIMSELF AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE..... I THING THIS IS HAPPENING ALL OVER... THE ATTITUDE IS GETTING HARD EVEN HERE IN NC..... THERE SEEMS TO BE MORE PICKY THINGS HAPPENING WITH THE GUARDS AGAINST THE INMATES. THIS CAUSES ANGER... IT IS HARD FOR THEM TO CONTINUE KEEPING THEIR COOL.

i hate summertime seems like more people get hurt and killed when it is hot. When it gets cold again I feel much safer for anthony.. I makes me worry for him.. I know he can hold his own but i still worry

I know what you mean shortie...even if our guys stay calm or whatever, there might always be someone that will try to hurt them anyway....but I tru to believe that everything will be ok. it's hard at times, but if I keep worrying like I do at certain moments, I think I will go insane or something

As I am sure Shortie can tell you, it's not always worrying about the physical safety, but that they just get home on time. (If you have to defend yourself and come out on top, they still like to yank time)

YES YOU ARE CORRECT, THE GUARDS PUSH THE INMATES INTO CORNERS AND THEY HAVE NO WAY OUT BUT TO LAY DOWN AND TAKE A BEATING LIKE A DOG OR WALK STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CORNER INTO THE GUARDS. MY SON SPEAKS UP FOR HIS SELF AND TELLS THEM HE DOES HAVE RIGHTS EVEN IF HE IS LOCKED UP. HE HAS BEEN VERY LUCKEY AND THE LORD HAS ANSWERED ALL MY PRAYERS TO KEEP HIS ARMS AROUND HIM AND PROTECT HIM UNTIL HE COMES HOME. MY SON SAYS AND TELLS ME ALL THE THINGS THAT GOES ON IN THE PRISON HE IS IN AND IT MAKES ME SO MAD.
