Any1 Have Someone At The Facility In Beaumont? Any Info On The Facility, Visitation, Etc....?

Which facility are you talking about in Beaumont? There are 3 state units, Gist, LeBlanc, and Stiles, and a federal prison. My husband is at Gist.

my man is at the med security facility. he has 2 mos and 3 weeks left. how much time does ur man have?

medium security as in federal prison?
My husband has 13 1/2 years left until his max date. 6 years 3 months until parole eligibility.

yes my man is iin beaumont, and there's 3 facilities there....low, med, and hi...not sure of what unit, but when i write him the p o box is 26040, they all have different box numbers.

has anyone heard what they are going to do about the guys that were up for parole when the hurricane hit? i heard that they are going to make them waiting until the first of the year but i am not sure.. have you heard anything?

Hey everyone! My husband as of today entered the LeBlanc unit in Beaumont. I would appreciate any information regarding visitation or the Unit itself.

Mine is at Gist. Visits are still only an hour I believe, I am going /sunday

An Hour? I didnt hear anything about that on the phone. What about Special Visits?

One of my sons is at Gist. They are still on 1 hour visits as far as I know. He was bench warrented back to Galveston for a couple of weeks. It was nice to have him close. Now back to drive to Beaumount. Only 70 more days till my oldest comes home. One down One to go.

My hubby is at the Jefferson County Downtown Unit (GEO) that contracts with TDC. PM me if you wanna get the scoop, cause they don't give good info on the phone at all!! However, in person the staff is really, really compassionate and nice. And they run the jail super lax, a lot of the TDC rules are kinda overlooked as long as everyone is behaving and not making any trouble for the CO's. It is considered a transfer facitlity, so lots of the guys are on their way (at some point, although it still could be years) and they are not wanting to get into any trouble, so for the most part it is kinda mellow.

LeBlanc Unit has 2 hour visits. It was the gist unit that had 1 hour visits due to hurricane damage to the unit.

My son is now at the Beaumont Federal Penitiary. I have yet to be able to make it there for a visit, but will shortly. I am in Memphis, TN. It seems they stay on lock down a lot, where they can't call home. Is there anyone else who knows someone at the Federal facility there? I know my 24 yr old son wants penpals there as well. He will be there quite some time. He has a four year old little boy, that he hasn't seen in a year either. I hear it is the worst facility around.
