CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY THE PRISON VISITS HAVE TO BE STRICKED?

Do you mean Strict, severe, and or rigid?

There are many reasons especialy safety and security are the main reason for rules. They become more and more restrictive when people try to break the rules that are in place.

ITS ALL PART OF THE POWER GAME-DEGREGATE AND HUMILIATE PRISONERS AND THEIR FAMILIES AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE-SUX DOESNT IT???

That and also to detour visitors from introducing contraband in the facility (by passing with hand or orally). Yes, it has been known that someone will bring something in their mouth and swap it when they kiss. Go figure!

I can't answer why it's so lenient in a federal facility. Maybe cuz the CO's aren't on power trips.

Cause:
#1. They don't care about their families.
#2. They hate to see inmates being affectionate.
#3. They think inmates don't deserve visits.
#4. They think you're going to help them escape.
#5. They think you're a convict too.
(I guess they think it's in the genes.)
#6. They concerned about security.
#7. They like driving you NUTS.

I could give you a billion more reasons why.
