:( anyone has an idea where clinton facility transfers the inmates who have time to do in the hole??:confused: .my husband is on lockdown for over 2 weeks,he told that he was going to fight the ticket ,since no news.i plan to call the family services tomorrow.his councelor is such a busy person that to reach her takes for ever,the family services on their side aren't the sweetest to deal with.:mad:

try docs web site: docs.state.ny.us if it doesn't tell you there after you put his number in, look on the part that says, if you can't find them---there is a phone number you can call.

It is possible that he could be doing that box time at Clinton and that he is not being transfered, do you know if was or not? Have you checked?

It depends on the ticket and the time he gets.If it is more than 30 days he could be transferred to Upstate C.F.. When he is done with his time, he will most likelybe sent back to Clinton.

My friend got 7 months box time at Clinton. He was sent to Attica's box to do his box time. It also was a "nightmare" trying to find out where he was as he was more than 2 weeks in transit. First he was sent to Downstate, then to Southport, then to Auburn and then to Attica. During this whole 2 week process, he was still listed as being in Clinton.

:banghead: With NYS DOCS there is never a direct route. :haha:

I have been told they only let them travel in the buses for a finite number of hours per day because they are so uncomfortable. I think 3 or 4 hours at a time. so they send them from point to point till they get them there. My son went from Elmira to Downstate to Great Meadow--other inmates being moved also affect where they go. But I really doubt anyone is in transit for weeks-- it could be weeks before the DOCS web site catches up--that's why calling the number is always the best thing when in doubt.
