I have never heard of that until just recently on this forum.

It's like a red flag from what I understand. It usually means that they can't be moved to a certain facility because.....of whatever reason and it states it...

A spawn is generated when a CO or inmate or victim files a notice saying that a) in the case of victims that they want to be notified of release of prisoner. b) that a CO personally knows an inmate, etc. c) that there is another inmate that is afraid him/her. Once a CO or inmate generates a spawn against someone they will not put them in the same faciity.

A Spawn is an ENEMY of the inmate.....whether the inmate don't get along with someone or vice versa.....and the two people together could create a problem. In my honey's case, he has 7 or 8 of them. THey are all people that were directly involved in his case and none of them can be in the same facility.

Oh my. That must keep people busy trying to keep track of so many spawns. I have a new understanding of the person who sets up transfers. Seems they would always be going back to the drawing board. :-)

LOLOLOL Yes! my honey has already been tranferred to another prison cuz they made a mistake and put him in the same prison on the same floor as one of his spawns. He didn't evven know it til I told him at the new facility. I check the MDOC everyday cuz there is another still waiting to be placed and I want to make sure they don't send him to where my honey is!!!
