Hi folks,
I'm hoping someone might have heard of what this is. Harvey was assessed a fee that was instigated by the Federal Prosecutor and it is called a 161 fee. He was told that this was not part of his restitution but that he had to pay it. No one has been able to tell him what it is for.

There is a $100 assessment that the courts impose, that every defendant has to pay, and is not part of any resititution. Hope this helps :)

Unfortunately, that is not what this is. He had paid that assessment long ago. This was actually for 161.00 and is called a 161 fee.
