Hi everyone. I just talked to my boyfriend right now and he told me that they are on lockdown.He is in B yard. I have a block on my phone and he called me on my cell phone. One of the seargents let him use the phone to call me. I was so happy to hear from him that I forgot to ask for how long have they been on it and does he have any idea when it will be over. I havent talked to him in 3 weeks because MCI blocked our phone.

Loving Baby went to see my son this week-end he is on b yard he said that they went on friday due to a fight in the yard. but they got visit. it been a long time for no lockdown. well i wrote him to fine out any more inform. and i hate mci they did the same to me if he make more then 20 calls they put a block on my phone i have it right now. so we just write to each other right now.

I just called a friend of mine at ISP and she said that the entire institution is now on lockdown. According to her an inncident occurred in Ad-seg where a CO was cut then a fight broke out both on B and D yards--she wasn't sure how long the lockdown was gonna last--anyways thanks for the info (my baby is on B-yard also and that yard is always going down). I'll post more if I hear anything new.

You're right B yard is always going on lockdown.

just want to say whats up & that its good to be communicating w/ people who have loved ones at Ironwood as I do. Lets try to keep one another informed as well as be encouraging to one another. My man is on A yard I heard they were off of lockdown this weekend but couldnt go.

Does anyone have any news for Ironwood lockdowns?? I have did not get a call this weekend and my baby always calls on the weekend...He is on the B yard Please let me know if you guys have any new Info thanks

I know they were on lockdown still yesterday on B yard because a guy I know who works out there told me--but he wasn't sure for how much longer. I heard the other yards came up--I'm going to call later to see what I can find out.

Geezee... I thought I was the only one here not getting a call. My husband was suppose to call me already and still NO CALL. I hope everything is alright. If anyone has information about A yard please let me know. Or whatever it is that's going on at Ironwood.

Just wanted to share this with you all. If you want you can call ISP at 760-921-3000. The operator (between 8:00-5:00) will connect you to someone who can tell you who is on lockdown. I just got two letters today and one the other day so the mail is moving okay. :) I just started a new job driving trucks so I was home for almost two weeks and it sure was frustrating :mad: to not be able to get a call when the rest of the time (when he could have called) I was on the road. I've got to get my virtual number back on. Anyway, let's pray they come off of lockdown soon and that all of our loved ones stay safe. Since I am suppose to be on the road (leaving in the morning)for about 3 weeks:( I want to tell you all to stay positive in the best if spirits and health and I hope you all get lots of mail, phone calls as soon as they come off of lockdown, and wonderful visits!! My truck broke down so I'm back home for awhile--unfortunatly they (ISP) have been giving us drama regarding my visits so I can't go see my baby while I'm home.:( I haven't seen him since April.

Do any of you know what ever happened to the web site for the Inmate Family Council at Ironwood? It was a great site with good information and had the monthly minutes and newsletter posted along with other information including if the yards were shut down or not, vending foods, facilities, etc.?

hi ladys thank you all for the inform on ironwood i to will like to know what up with them allways beening on lockdown i have not heared from my son for 2wks. he is in b yard? i pray veryday for all the inmates in ironwood that they see that they need to stop all this fighting and just learn to get along in there for the love ones out here pay just like they do went they land up in lockdown we dont hear from or get to go see them. so my friend lets just pray for them and like you all say let keep in touch about this lockdown and went it done with , also what happen to ISP, i loved it for i was able to go to that web and know what was happen in there miss it alot. keep up the good work family with this inform here.

HI everyone my boyfriend just got transfered on friday to ironwood from tehachapi he was in reception.. does anyone know how it works, like when will i hear from him or when i can go visit???? plus how do you get there from Los Angeles?? thanks!!
