My fiance went in on Friday, 7/22 (last Friday). We live in Connecticut, so after bringing him to the prison, I still had to drive home. It is now 1 week and 1 day later....and I haven't heard from him. No phone calls, no letters. He is in the Diagnostic Hospital at Pine Bluffs.. He is paralyzed due to the accident that put him in jail. How long does it take for the phone list to be approved and how long does it take for mail to be sent? I'm going crazy not hearing, especially due to his condition. What should I expect?

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. And wow, what a long drive! I cannot remember exactly how long it took for calls to get approved (it's been a while). I think mail can be sent immediately once they're there - but I don't know how long it would take to reach Connecticut. I wish the best of luck to you guys and hope you hear from him soon!
