Tomorrow will be a week sence I have heard from my man. I usually get letters atleast 3 times a week and I haven't gotten one, so I am like trippin out. I don't get to see him again until Next Saturday cause hes a class 2, so I am like really worried about him. I dunno if hes hurt or anything and he can't call cause I just moved out(yay no more BS from my parents) and haven't gotten a phone yet so I dunno what to think. His cell mate wrote me to thank me for ordering his commisary for him but usually my man sends his cellmates letters with his, so that is trippin me out also. If I don't hear from him tomorrow I really am gonna freak out. Has this ever happend to anyone?

This has happen to me and he wrote me a couple of days later but you can call and check on your man if you know what unit hes in reply back and ill try to get the number for you

Fear of the unknown is a powerful, scary thing. I know what you mean about not hearing from your man and just trying to figure out what is going on is frustrating. You can call and inquire about him and possibly talk to his counselor. I hope you hear from him soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thanks everyone! I keep hoping I will have a letter when I wake up in the morning! I hate not knowing if hes ok or not!! I will write tomorrow and let u know if I got a letter or not! Again thanks for everything!

I finally got a letter from him today and feel so much reliefe knowing hes ok! I am so much happier now! I love him so much and get so worried not knowing if hes ok or not! But I will shut up now! Thanks everyone!

Letters are a lifeline. Without them we always imagine the worst of the worst. I find myself doing that too. I had gotten 3 letters in 3 days from my man and let me tell you that is so unusual for him. That was a week ago and nothing since then. Last letter I got was stating he was out of the hole. THANK GOD......Sgt. "E" is not a nice female CO let me tell you. Dang good thing her last name doesn't start with a "B" :-)
I am glad that you heard from him. I know when I get letters I can't get them open fast enough. Yes, I have literally run into people when I have been coming out of the post office because I am so in a hurry to get the letter open....(oh well they shouldn't be in my way...right?) LOL

I know for some of us letters are our lifeline. My fiancee sent me a letter on July 23rd and I just received it yesterday. I don't know if the prison mailroom kept it that long or what happened but sometimes it could be that letters are being written, just that we're not getting them in a timely manner. Considering it takes only 1-3 days to get mail from there to here, this was beyond ridiculous taking that long to receive a letter. I doubt there's anyone to contact in reference to this but thought I would share.

My letters from my baby ARE my lifeline. He tells me not to worry about him, but how can I not worry???? I have went days without getting a letter and then one day will get 3 or 4 at a time....whether its the prison's fault or the post office, I just think they like to torture us lol. I can be having the worst day possible, but when I open the mailbox and see that envelope with the blue & red stamped corner, everything disappears but his written words...I too cant get it opened fast enough!! :-)

I am the same way! He ran out of envelopes so he hasn't wrote...its been like 8 days since I got to hear from him last and that was at visitation! I am like going crazy but he told me at visitation! I just got a phone so he just got to send the papers in so he can't call yet! Its weird to me how I feel! I've only been with him for like 4 months so I almost feel obsessed, but then again I've never felt this either! But I guess its the way it goes!
