Yesterday while at the state library in Lansing (doing genealogy stuff) I found out that the library has a wonderful information site and its free...you just have to enter your DL # or State ID # to prove you are a resident of the state.

Some of the things they offer are:

access to over 1600 magazines and newspapers

Practice Tests for ACT, SAT, Civil Service, etc

Arts & Humanities info

General Interest - indexed e journals, world almanac

Education Resources Information center

Genealogy

Health

Legal Resources....Intex to Legal Periodicals
Mel Law

and MUCH MUCH more

go to: mel.org

scroll down and enter your DL #

I tried it.....but I'm not sure how to bring it up. I went into the site and typed in the author's name and came up with 3 different "articles" that Rucker co-wrote with others.

What confuses me is the multi choices of article, and others that I don't remember right now.......in a few minutes, I'll go back in and try again. maybe between the two of us, I can figure it out and bring it up....

Mrs. Dragon, is there any other place that you can look up different legal matters that actually show what is in them. I can not get to a library and I need to find out the steps to take to help my fiance' get a divorce while he is in prison. We have been trying to get married for awhile, but his wife keeps contesting it. I know it souonds funny. They haven't been together for 16 yrs now and haven't lilved together for 17. I have been trying to help him, but I don't know how. I need whatever help you can give me.
Thanks.

Carmel, have you tried the resource section on PTO? It's at the top of the page next to chat. There are several good legal source there!
