I just wanted to share some great news I received from my best friend in jail today. His name is Mike and he's been there for 9 1/2 years, he was my ex husband's friend to start with but by the time he went to prison he also was mine too. I have written to him for all this time and now we have become closer then ever and we talk about his furture when he comes home and today he told me he was willing to try a relationship with me when he comes home! I was so surprised and happy. We have talked about alot of things, but this subject has been a hard one for us. Only because he is there and i'm here. Also because he was friends with my ex first . Mike hasn't talked to anyone in his old crew of friends for years execpt for me, thats it. Also he asked me to be patient and is willing for my help to look for work and car and etc. This is a great thing he is really starting to open up more because he knows forsure now he has someone waiting for him to share life with and I've been there always from before this mess, during and i'll be here long after. I send him something every single day. Even if it's just iI'm thinking of you on a sheet of paper to cards and of course my world on all those long letters. I don't let him miss a beat, as if he was here. I just wanted to share my happiness with you, thanks for reading it and today has began a new day in my life and his.Tonight I will write back telling him YES I will be here waiting and all good things come to those who wait and boy have I waited. tres:)

hello eveyone, well this week I got two letters in the mail, the first one was saying he was happy to here my reply and also he would like to relocate to another state when this is all said and done. I answered back telling him I understand about taking things slow and relocating for me if need be is fine and I'll still be here waiting. The second letter was about my visit coming up to see him. Mike is very excited to be seeing me in the next couple of weeks they lost me on his list . Can you believe that one? I drove 2 1/2 hours to get there and I was told I wasn't on his list anymore and told them it was impossible, so I drove all the way back home and wrote him a letter ASAP telling him what happened and I was there . So he sent me a new form to fill out, so now I'm in waiting for approval once again. When I get it in the mail, I will be on my way once again. I tried to call but someone there told me a letter would be sent and they can not tell you over the phone anymore. So I will keep you posted on my visit, he wrote me saying he has alot to tell me in person. So today sat may 3rd is his birthday and I missed it. I did mail 2 cards which he got on friday. I'll keep you posted. tres

Tres~ So sorry to hear you made that 2 1/2 hr. trip for nothing! Shesssssh lost you on his list! What a bunch of crap! I will be praying for a quick second approval and for a wonderful visit for the two of you!

Hello again everyone, well I finally got my approval in the mail today with the set of rules , so I will try to go again in the next two weeks. I just have to request a day off of work and send him a letter telling him the day I will be there. Keep you posted. Tres

Hello all, I'm happy to say I finally got to see MIke! I was so excited. I went on thursday the 22nd, I got to stay the whole time 6hrs. That made my visit even better and we got to talk about things from the past, his time there recently and now. Last time I went to visit it was on a different level, I was his friends ex-wife but now the feelings of our friendship has surfaced. So I got to see him in a whole new way. We have been friends since 1991. Now as he is getting closer to the door our feelings are coming out. It was everything I wanted and more. When I left there I had a great feeling, saddness alittle but a feeling that I know that I can visit anytime and he knows without a doubt that someone out here really does love him and he has a whole new life waiting for him to return to. So my visit went very well and he was very pleased to see me as well. I will be going back probably next week one day. Thanks to all of you for your support. I finally got there and I found my forever now all i need to do is to keep waiting and I sure can do that. I have loved that guy for along time coming. Now our feelings are equal and that alone is going to keep me loving him longer and stronger. tres
