anyone ???????? :D
acmccollom 07-29-2005, 05:15 PM Hi Rebekah!
I haven't been to Vacaville to visit, but I can relate. I sent my brother-in-law a religious item 2 months ago and he finally received it after I emailed and called the ombudsman for CSP-Solano! I also sent in my visiting form 2 and a half months ago and neither of us has heard anything. According to my hubby (who was released from there in December) the guards are there for the job and do not care whom they irritate. So, if you need to vent, feel free to PM me.

cindyj88 08-03-2005, 11:16 AM Hi,
I did 4 1/2 years with my husband at Vacaville, and they can be really ****ed up with their lockdowns. As for visting if you can get there on Thursdays and Fridays in the afternoon you can have a quiter visit, less people. On the weekends if you can be there between 7:00 and 7:30, just outside the gates the ladies and visitors are already lined up, find someone and they will be able to school you on the procedures of when people can get in, I think it is like 8:00 am. Anyway, no problem, but they do have quite a few lockdowns there, due to the fact that its a medical facility and the loonies inside will act up alot.
nenlo 08-30-2005, 02:19 AM Does anyone one anything about the lockdown status now? I have'nt heard from my man since last wednesday. He is in Level III.Yard 1.I know all northern hispanics are on lockdown only yards 1 & 2. They let them use the phones on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, but Like I said he did'nt call on friday or today...If anyone know anything please tell me...

Mom Jackson 11-10-2005, 10:05 AM Hi there,
My son has just been transfered to CMF Vacaville. I am so gald I have found a few others... There are so few posts reqarding this facility! Are they on lockdown still and do you think we should start a thread such as "All things CMF Vacaville" like others have done with other prisons?

aagmeb 12-26-2005, 06:37 PM Waitn4jose: Visiting isn't too bad there. If you get there by 7 a.m. you should be able to get yourself a good #. But even if you get a good #, wait 'til they're at about 130-140 to process. If not, you'll run the risk of getting terminated. I got there last weekend at 7 a.m. and got #85. I waited to process 'til they called 100. I still got terminated! I was the last batch that got terminated, so it's better to wait awhile.
Dress code all depends on the guards' moods that day. For sure, no green, no orange, no yellow, no straight red, no white t-shirts, blue jeans, usual procedure. Sometimes the guards will be in a bad mood and try to send you back even when you're wearing something that's not prohibited. But I just try to always make sure I'm wearing something that I know I can't be sent back for. I do like how you can wear black jeans, though. When my husband was in Soledad you couldn't wear any color denim. And you couldn't wear anything khaki either. At least at CSP, khaki's allowed.
Are you visiting the level 3 or level 2? My husband's in level 2. The visiting room there has a little outdoor patio. When it's raining, the visit room reaches maximum capacity quick so it's better to be processed later so that you're not terminated. But on dry days it's OK since the patio's open.
CSP is usually pretty crowded. If you get there by 7 then you can just grab a pass as you drive in. The average wait time is 2 hours. Usually I'm in by 10, and visiting ends at 3:15. Most of the time the guards are OK. There are some real grouches too, but most of 'em are alright.
If you have any other questions, you can personal message me and I'll answer 'em for you. And I'll probably see you out there very soon! =)
CnE510 01-17-2006, 11:42 AM Hello......
My man is at CSP-Solano in Vacaville. It's nice to have found others that go through what I go through. From what I hear, it's not so bad, as far as the visiting guidelines. I think other prisons have it worse. I head up there just about every weekend to see my man. We have about 4 1/2 years left..... :(. We'll be okay though, we just take every day as it goes and pray to God for patience. So far so good. Hit me up anytime for questions.......... ;)

wifey4lifey 01-18-2006, 06:19 AM my husband is at csp solano, i have visit faithfully every saturday and sunday. when i went to visit this past sunday and was told by the sergt. when getting my pass she told me that until they find what there looking for, there will be no movement of inmates. so something happened , but what dont know yet. I thought they were on lock down, with no phone calls, but when i called mci , they said there was attempt yesterday on my line ?! I'm not sure how correct that is , the call was when my phone is blocked, and at the time the attempt was made, i'm not home from work yet, and my husband knows that ? so i'm confused with the phone issue but as of yesterday there is no visist's for level 2 which is yard 3 and 4 .
aagmeb 01-27-2006, 07:27 PM I was planning on going up to see my husband that day, but I told him I would be late; around 10 or 11. Luckily, one of the other wives called me and told me not to bother because they were on lockdown. So I didn't make the trip. I went to visit him last weekend, both Saturday & Sunday, and he said that there was a baking sheet missing from the kitchen. Never did find out if they found it or not. I'm just grateful visiting is back on. That one week felt like one year!!! I'm used to seeing my husband every single weekend. We're spoiled! =)
sweetmommy84 02-13-2006, 11:14 PM hey my buddy is in Vacaville right now and we lost contact before he was moved there. do you know someone there who could possibly relay a message?
