Hello to everyone! I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything at all about Pine Bluff Unit and Tucker Unit. My boyfriend will transferring to one of them soon (mid. aug) and none of us know anything about these units. Any kind of info will be greatfully appreciated. Right now he's in Tecumseh, Nebraska. My boyfriend is in Tucker, it is not all that bad considering, be careful about what you wear though, they will refuse to let you in if your wearing something that they don't see appropriate. I got refused (or told to go buy a jacket) for wearing a shirt that showed to much of my shoulders (it did have sleaves just small ones) Other then that, they are not to bad.

Hi, I'm from Pine Bluff and it is totally crowded there. Not pretty sure about what to wear, but I do know that since they are SO many inmates, the guards are cranky at all times.

Do you mean the P.B Diagnostic Unit? My brother was there and could not get ouot of there soon enough. In most cases it is used just as temporary place until you get assigned to a permanant unit. Just tell him to remember it is TEMPORARY (that is, if you are speaking of the diagnostic unit). you can send me a PM if you want to know more.

Hey there, welcome to PTO...my boyfriend was at Tucker for a couple of years, but recently got transferred to Grimes. He said Tucker wasnt too bad. I can tell you all about the visits there, so if thats where he goes PM me and will tell you all about it! Take care and hang in there :-)

My fiance is a "permanent assignment" (due to medical issues) to the Diagnostic Unit which may be different than your situation. The Diagnostic Unit is mostly used as the "intake facility" for all male inmates in Arkansas. They remain in there until they are assigned to a unit (i.e. Tucker, Grimes, Varner, etc).
