Joy, just so you know... they do still take pictures at TDCJ. At my husbands Unit, it's the 1st weekend of each month :) But I went ahead and signed for those who don't.:)

Thanks Diane. There are several units that have stopped, to include Death Row. That one I can't fathom. They want to kill these guys, yet they will not allow their families to have a picture taken with them, even on the day they are executed.

#57!! :) This is a good cause, thanks for the opportunity to sign this. The individuals signing laws should really be more familiar with the internal workings of a facility. Inmates have to fight for simple rights; showers, exercise, access to the library - they shouldn't have to fight for a picture too. Good luck with the petition!
