My husband is at Delano RC, I just got a paper back in the mail today saying that I would not be able to visit. It said I had filled the from out wrong/or falsefied information. I lloked at the other forms I have and I only put that I had never been in jail or prison. I did get a ticket when I was 16 or running a red light. And I got a tickent in 1992 or littering. I can not figure out why they won't let me visit. They said I could write a letter to the warden and ask to visit. I am sure someone out there may have had the same problem. Help Help! I am unsure waht to do next. He is being tranfered soon, do I have to fill out a form again, get told I can't visit and then write a letter I guess begging to be able to visit. Can anyone help!!!!!

It seems like lately people are getting denied visiting.
I believe you have to appeal this matter to the warden. It is better to have to much unneeded information than leaving something off. Littering may not be a big deal to you, maybe it is to them. (I don't know for sure, of course.)
I am waiting for my DOJ report to come from Sacramento. I am going to do all I possibly can to get my visiting approved, the first time around. I think you have to wait like 3 months to appeal. Your best bet is to contact the prison and have the visiting sargent help you with exactly what you are to do.
If you get approved at Delano, you wont' have to fill out another CDC 106.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

You have to put everything down. But If you werent in jail or prison and you werent lying then i dont know what the problem is. Did you put you right social. I would type up a letter and send it to the warden of the prison. I was actually recently convicted of a felony. I made sure i put eveything down and also sent a letter to the warden and I got approved. I was so happy I got approved because i didnt think I was going to.

on the revised form date 01/03
Question # 12 asks.
Have you ever been detained, arrested and/or convicted of a crime?
If you have ever had ANY kind of police contact, I would deffinately say
to mark yes. If by chance you give them more information than they need,
it doesn't matter. You just want to be up front 100%. No doubts.
If they don't need it, they aren't going to deny you. However, if you leave "it" off, they will (deny you).
Best of luck with an appeal.

Hello Everyone:
I am in California and my son was just transfered from Delano Reception last week, and now he is at McFarland Community Correction Facility. Only about 5 mins. away from Delano State Prison. I thank God that they did not send him further away. I wanted to let you know that we sent his in visitation forms and everything was approved. Went to visit my son and he had just let one day ago. They meaning Delano State told us that he had been moved to McFarland and they gave us the address and directions. There are three Private facilities right close to each other in McFarland, CA. I was not able to use the visitation forms from Delano, CA. The Sargeant told us we would have to send in new ones to have them approved. But the Sargeant was very nice to let us see our son for 1 hour and not behind glass. Praise God was his work. I hope everything works out for you Zunigan. I know it is very stressful. Try to have faith that everything is going to work out for you and you will see your loveone soon.
