I am delighted to have found this new forum, and really appreciate what you are doing to help those you left behind in the system. My husband is incarcerated and what a learning experience it has been for both of us. This forum can be such a support for families who are new, frightened, and just learning the rules. Our greatest support has been fellow inmates and their families. We all try to help each other out with a communication network. How can we spread the word about this forum? It is not easy to find..even searching on Google for prison forums. I just stumbled on it.
My husband also tries to help fellow inmates from the inside, educating them how to help themselves and knowing their rights.
I am anxious to hear ideas from others on what we can do to better the system.

Welcome to the forum. I am so glad you found it. I guess I was lucky to find it since I received an email telling me where to go! I look forward to getting to know more about you and your husband. We all need to stay together and help each other through these times. Then even after these times are over, we need to continue our support as Fed_X has done for those left behind! What a great thing he is doing! I hope to hear more from you. By the way, did you find the inmate information on the BOP page?
