Hope someone can explain...
My husband plead out to a misdemeanor in county jail Sept 2002. He got sentanced to 2 x 12 months, which translates to 12 months w/ the 2 for 1.
Next, he went to a neighboring county in December 2002 and was sentanced to 3 years on a felony 1st dgree forgery charge. (with the understanding that it would be run concurrent with the other county's charge) They returned him back to the original county within the week.
The state came and got him in Feb and sent him to diagnostics. After talking to the Parole person at diagnostics I was informed that he was only showing 6 days credit prior to the state picking him up. Our attorney is working on the amendment from the judge from the felony charge presently.
On top of that, my husband called today and said that the misdemenor county jail wants him back when his state time is up! He has about 7 months left to serve on that sentance. I totally dont understand why they want him back seeing as how he is going to be serving more than the time they gave him now.
Anyone been through this before?
I was told that I should write a letter to the sentancing judge with that county and ask for a reprive of the remaining time since he is currently serving. Will this help? SO SICK OF THE DOC!
I have been lied to so many times or else not been given any answers.
