Hello, My Man Is In B And They Are On Lockdown But I Dont Know Why As Of Yet....if I Find Out Anything I Will Let You Know And If You Do Please Let Us Know....i Hope I Have Been Of A Little Help Anyway.

My man is on D Building. I was told that B & D are on lock down. I know D been on lock down for about 1 week now. But, I heard something happend this weekend so they we be on lock down for a while.

Hey Martha b yard is Hispanics on lock down My friend was only able to receive a 20 minute visit.. And D yard its all inmates on lock down,,,, my yard C blacks are in lock down... I went this weekend and it was crazy saturday Hispanics were able to receive a 20 minute visit behind glass but something happen in the yard that one of the inamtes was transfer to the hospital... my man said that the blacks got into a fight:eek::eek: I'll keep you posted also Jerry called me yesterday and he said there still on lock down I hope you here from your man soon:(

Hey who knows maybe they get out of lock down this week its just a matter of time... but i think something really bad happen in D yard I know that in B yard something happen that a CO got hurt and I think they are going to be doewn for a while until they investagate what happen you now,,, and in D yard like i said something happen to a inmate but I'll talk to you:) soon.. Jerry has not called today so i guess that things must not be good Oh well I hope for the best

How does Jerry call you if they are on lock down? Well hope they are off for the following weekend.

I think that the blacks that are in lock down any who he told me he was with the counsoler and she let him call me for 5 minutes since it was my birthday:D but he called collect and it was only for 5 minutes .. better than nothing

I would like to know whatever you ladies find out. My son is in Centinela too I think B yard. We don't communicate too much so I don't expect a call or anything. Do they get mail and can they send mail when they are on lock down? Please post whatever you find out, okay This site is the only way I know anything about what's going on where my son is.

Yes when they are on lock down they still could receive and mail out.

Bignana Yes they are in lock down,,, there was a fight and one of the co got hurt,, but you can send them mail, its just take a while for them to receive it and for them to send it out any other info that you want to know feel free to pm me back...:)

Hi, does anyone have any update info for this weekend's 07/23/05 visits in Centinela??

I have received pretty reliable information regarding the current status of the Modified Programs at Centinela for the upcoming weekend. Facilities A, B, and D remain on some level of Modified Programs for the weekend; however, Facility D will be the only yard to have their visiting program restricted. Due to ongoing incidents between individuals or groups of hispanic and black inmates, these two groups will not have visiting activities for the weekend. White inmates and Others who live with them will have regular contact visits. The same two impacted groups will most likely not have access to telephones for several days as well.

As normal for in the Imperial Valley for July, expect the temperatures to be at about 110-113 degrees, therefore, dress light and remember to travel with plenty of water/drinks to avoid heat related problems. Although I have not heard of a date for installation, I have also recently heard that they are in the process of ordering/installing a water misting system around the exterior of the visitor processing room...God knows we could all use it. :thumbsup:
