I just want to tell my story. I have had many friends in the prison system in NJ and NY. For some reason, I came across Cory Maples name and decided that
I wanted to write to him and be his friend. Dont know where this came from,
possibly a higher calling. I finally sent a letter and am awaiting a response.
He is on Death Row in Atmore. I am not sure if he will respond but I thought
I would give it a try. I cant explain the need to do this but I hope to have a friend and to be a friend? Has anyone done the same thing? And if someone could give me ino on Atmore, It would be greatly appreciated.

i believe the death row is in atmore at Holman prison, i've never been to holman but there are a few people here that have and i'm sure they will come along soon to give you info.

i also whated to welcome you again to our site and to tell you that what ever the reason you decided to write to him i'm sure that he and others in the system are grateful. My husband has told me many times how just something as simple as a pen-pal can make a huge difference in their lives.
