Hi,
My father just got sent to prison and im looking for some one who can tell me about the prison system or perhaps the goods and th ebad things about prison im just concerned.i here all these bad things about prison.He is facing 4years 9 months max 15 years.........please help..thanks bec25

I don't know where to start with the good or the bad... sorry but your question is so general.

Are there specific things that you want to know? If you go to the Prison Profiles Forum you will find links that will take you to the prison site where your father is - that may answer some questions.

Other than that, I suggest that you pose more specific questions as to what you want to know about and I am sure that someone will have the answer.

Welcome to PTO bec! If you ask more specific questions like teb said we may be able to help. Did he just go in and that's why he is in Jackson? Is he in intake there? I am from Michigan and there are many of us on PTO--we should be able to answer your questions if we know a bit more....

Im Katie. Shell021001's daughter. I am 12. I know how you feel. It is really hard to grow up without a dad. I dont understand much about this prison stuff either. All i can say is my mom told me that there is a good part and a bad part of Prison. If your dad is put in the bad part with people who have nothing to lose cause they are in there already then thats a bad thing. If he is put in the good part of the prison then there isnt that much to worry about. You can make it though cause if i can then you can. im barley making it, but im making it.
