ati2d 09-25-2004, 10:21 PM Magazine Bin has not confirmef with me yet, how long does it take after you submit your request, do they take to confirm the order with you?
I got my confirmation right away. check the email address that you entered was correct.
Manzanita 09-25-2004, 11:05 PM It was correct...????
gipsyrose 09-26-2004, 08:40 AM I still haven't gotten my confirmation either and it's been almost a week :( I already told him which mags he is supposed to be getting. I hope it works!!
MsChiku 09-26-2004, 08:47 AM I went to the posted sites but it said "under construction" to try back in a few days. The original post was 10/2003. Maybe it no longer applies?
starduk 09-26-2004, 09:08 AM I am currently waiting for approval too.. for the Magazine Bin offer
I got:
People Weekly
The Source
Spin
Esquire
Hapers Bazaar (good for day dreaming!!!!)..
Manzanita 09-26-2004, 05:21 PM IT seems a few of us are waiting....hmmmmm
Manzanita 12-09-2004, 06:48 AM www.magazine-bin.com
FINALLY got back to me after weeks of waiting for approval on 6 magazines for FREE! You still do have to pay them a certain fee for them each ...$2.95 each but my hubby will get 6 mags for one year for $17.80 total that I paid. so it is a great deal. Try it!
Manzanita 03-15-2005, 09:57 PM Has anyone ever used Magazinebin.com for free mags offers? I sent them $16 in December and my husband still has not gotten any of them, I emailed them and got no answer....any other ideas how to find out why and how to get my money back, or did this happen to you?
Lil shy shy 03-16-2005, 12:14 AM Mrs G the same thing happen to me. I sent $12 and my brother hasnt recieved anything. I paid with paypal so I might just file on them through there!
Manzanita 03-16-2005, 06:46 AM I also Paid through paypal....what can we do about this?
I wonder who else they did this too.
Lil shy shy 03-16-2005, 07:16 AM File a claim through the Resolution center. That is what I just did. But it told me they couldnt do nothing but the company would be put on file. Does the company say Directmedia that you paid your money too?
Manzanita 03-16-2005, 07:14 PM I sent this company money for magazines in December and they never sent them to my husband! :blah:
There is no way of getting touch with them either!
they advertise the mags as FREE, and then you have to pay a fee for them anyways. I had sent away for 5 magazines for $16 and they stole that money!
Be careful!
MollyBawn 03-17-2005, 03:30 AM Here is a link to discussion of what's going on with regard to Magazine Bin and any pending refund requests. This is from a Freebie site I frequent under the same User name as here:

The Teen Vogue offer was about 8 weeks ago via TeenFreeway.com Yiu had to sign up to be part of some Survey program. I have yet to see my first issue but that doesn't mean it won't come. TeenFreeWay also has some odd offer for a Free Cheerleading Magazine but you have to fork over the email addys of 3 teenage boys.
There was once an offer for American Girl, but that was a loooong time ago. Out of all the mags I get, my 2 teen nieces really like:
Shape
Body & Soul
Organic Style
Blender
Vibe
Rolling Stone
Spin
Latina
Hispanic
Interview
Wired
and believe it or not..they love Sporting News cu they are way into baseball and basketball.
One of my nieces also loves to swipe my SCUBA DIVING issues and my SPORT DIVER cu she loves all the pictures of the fishies! hehe. She also likes the twice a year mag I get called LAND & PEOPLE cuz of the nice nature photos. If that one hasn't been posted, I'll post a link to the offer.
I have seen really cheap susb to Elle Girl at reliable discount sub places.

Manzanita 05-03-2005, 06:42 AM lil shy shy, how long did it take, I paid for them in December! I paid $16 through paypal, for 5 magazines for one year, what did you do?
softcooky 05-03-2005, 10:23 AM I reported them to the BBB in Florida. They haven't been able to get ahold of them either. They got me for $15.00
jen_n_beau 05-03-2005, 11:04 AM If you paid with paypal all you need to do is report it to paypal that you didn't receive the merchandise. They will investigate it and if that company can't prove they sent it you then Paypal will most likely refund you your money.
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_protections-buyer-outside
It says you have to file within 45 days of payment but if I was you I'd fill out the form anyway and see if it works.
