I am new to this system, but I would like to connect with anyone that has a loved one in Snake River

I have a son in Snake River, he was transferred there from Santiam. I've talked to him and a few others about it. Have you called your inmate's counselor? I do know it is medium and minimum. My son was in HONORS DORM at Santiam and was transferred to Warner, but because he has a physical disability, they transferred him to Snake. No explanation, and none about why he is in general population and not honors! He did get transferred to a dorm recently, from a cell. My son called it "the meanest gladiator school in the ODOC!" He cannot wait to be transferred back to the valley. His projected release date is December 5, 07. If I can answer any questions, I'd be happy to try . . . Much aloha.

I've had family at SRCI for 5 years. Not as bad as other prisons in eastern oregon.

My husband is in SRCI, if you need any information let me know. There is also a lady named Becky Smith out here. She started a business called Freedom Spirit, she offers a lot services and assistance for loved ones of inmates at SRCI.

My man got sent to SRCI on the 24th of Oct.2007,I signed up for the E.M.E. does anyone know how it works? I've written him 2 letters since I signed up. How long does it take for them to send you a letter from HIM? we are supposed to get 30 messages each.and I just got a new number on my cell phone how long does it take for the number to get approved and activated on his account for him to call you? I'm just freaking out, I haven't heard from him since last Thurs.(25th) and he's the one who told me to sign up for this E.M.E. thingy.aauuuggh!! I hate not knowing what is going on or what to do. and no way to get word to him or from him. any info would be great. besides my landlord just told me I've got 30 days to move out he sold his house. thanx surelyuknowamy
