Im thinking about attending in university in Alabama. My reason is because my honey would feel that i am close to his family. I will be applying for university this year to enter in the fall semester - August/September 2006 (not sure when it starts).
Is there anyone who goes to university in Alabama? If so, which one? What is it like? Are there many international students there? Do they Architecture courses or even Building Studies?

2nice - Alabama and Auburn are both excellent schools and two of the top universities in the Southeastern U.S. I believe both have strong architecture/engineering departments. My future father-in-law is an Auburn alumni and my guy's baby brother just graduated from there.
There are also some good smaller universities and colleges around the state as well and some extension campuses of the U of A in other cities. If you can tell us where in Alabama his family is (it's a pretty big state) we can give you a better idea of what schools are closer to where they are.
On another and much less important note, Kay and Selena (waiting again) will both tell you they have good football teams but don't listen to them. ;) (hey Kay & Sel - go big orange!) :D ;)

Now, Now, Now...WHO was it that won the SEC Championship? Was that the "Big Orange" or was that Auburn??? Hmmmmmmmmm :D Just kiddin...ya know I love ya...I just don't love your team. :p
2nice...from what I've heard...Auburn IS a really good school (& yes...so is the football team...or it WAS good...I'm not to sure about this year :( ). My pastor graduated from Auburn...and so did 4 of my cousins..and they all turned out pretty good. I actually have thought about applying at Auburn if/when I decide to go back to school. I think if you choose Auburn...you wouldn't regret it!

Thanks ladies :) Youre right, Al is a very big state... bigger than the whole of the UK put together!! :o His family live in Selma, Al... not too far from Montgomery (so his mum tells me). Is Aurburn near there?
