I arrived home this morning from my first visit. It was great. I now have to figure out how we go about getting married. Also with out transportation it was really easy to get to susanville.:thumbsup: :)

Excellent!! I'm so glad you got it all worked out and now you can go back whenever you want!! As for the getting married, strat with the chaplain at the prison.

I have a vehicle, but theres no way it would ever make it out of So. Cal, let alone up north. How did you go about transportation?

Well I went by greyhound to reno nevada at reno I caught the mnt lassen shuttle it is actually called sage stage.20 dollars each way i stayed at the super 8 came to 184.00 for fri through mon cheaper ones are down the street. I called the friendship house once i got my room and they picked me up and dropped me off both days. visiting went very smoothly just watch what you wear. Don't wear white or anything you can see through. No under wires. I made it through with no problems but seen a lot of people sent back to change clothes. the friendship house has clothes you can change into. I hope to go back in a couple of months and get married.

I am so glad that everything went smooth, and its really nice that you can do it without a car. I finally got a letter from my son and he said everything was going good. I am hoping to make it there in a couple of months. I have thought about the train or the bus but am not sure what I will do.

Next time I go it will probably be on the amtrac the greyhound is horrible
