There will be changes to our website at www.hcvinprison.org. You may have had
difficulty understanding some of the guidelines that we have posted due to a
format problem. The guidelines that we have now will soon be made into PDF
files so that you will be able to print out correct copies without having to
make changes with the format. There will also be other changes that will make
our website more convenient for you to view and use.

Below are the guidelines that we presently have. If any of you happen to have
guidelines that aren't listed, it would be very appreciated if you could send
to pkbeckinor@aol.com or send to Phyllis Beck, PO Box 41803, Eugene, OR
97404.
The guidelines that you send will definitely go directly towards helping
prisoners. We are now sending out guidelines to prisoners upon request.

State Guidelines - Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia,
Hawaii, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Ohio,
Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Rhode Island, Texas,
Maine, Virginia, Washington, Federal Bureau of Prisons 2003, Iowa. (there is
very little information for Alaska)

Please let others know that we now have a toll free number to help family
members of prisoners and for prisoners who have just been released and are
needing information, resources and support for HCV and HIV/HCV coinfection.
We feel that education and support should be provided not only while
incarcerated but should be made available when released. Many families are
taking advantage of our toll free number and providing them with information
and support. Our toll free number is 866-hepinfo (437-4636).

The HCV Prison Support Project is helping educate prisoners with our
newsletter "Hepatitis C Awareness News." Prisoners may request our newsletter
by writing to the HCV Prison Support Project, PO Box 41803, Eugene, OR 97404.
There is no charge. Our newsletter is reaching all states and if there are
resources that you would like for us to list that may be helpful, please
email to pkbeckinor@aol.com

Thanks.
