You guys may already know this, but it's news to me! While visiting the Max over the weekend I noticed an advertisement and a stack of order forms for the inmate package program. This shipment is spring/summer 2005 and will arrive the week of August 22nd. I just placed an online order for a friend of mine. The website is ww.acs-us.com. (American Commissary Supply)

I'm somewhat new to this system, can you explain what and "inmate package" is and how it works? Are these items that are to be sent to inmates? Can they be sent to any unit within the ADC?

Any info would be appreciated.

these are items you order thru adc and are delivered to the inmate. sometimes its cheaper to give them money and let them buy their own, but the packages also have stuff they can't get from commissary. plus getting a package is like getting a gift - who doesn't love that?!

Does this work at any institution?
