I spoke with his case couselor and he said that he was gonna be going up in front a parole board. He is not a violent offender but a drunk driver. He has learned his lesson and he knows that he really F**** himself. He came from a well to do family and they let him hang out to dry and learn a lesson. He is supposed to be doing a 2 years but VINE says 5 years. What does going in front a pre release parole hearing board in MRDCC do? Do they or can they reduce his sentence and see his needs medical and rehabilation help instead of incarceration. Help me figure this out. I am going to be talking to his attorney tomorrow, his original one I paid 900 dollars for?Should I wait for this parole hearing or have a sentence modification done before this??? Any advice would greatly appreciate it Thank you.
