My brother was sent there in April (I think) and still has not been able to call out. In letters he says that the whites are still on lockdown. Does anyone know if that is true? We are so lost in all of this. He was sent from out of state so we have no idea about the CA system. I see people posting about a quarterly package can anyone explain that? Should we call the prison and speak to someone about what we can and cannot send? He has received some of the $ my parents sent but if he's on lockdown can he even use it?

I've looked at their site and visiting is not an option right now anyway but it would be nice for a phone call or to send a package and know he'll get it.

if you go to access.com or packagesrus. com they sent packages to the prison. they will let you know if he can get them,and what they can have. i have used them both. you do need to know what prison he is at and his cdc number. you can only send them every three months so i usally buy everything that he needs. but alot of time when they are on lockdown they dont get much.

Thanks again. My parents had a letter this week and he is really bummed out so telling him about this should at least boost him some.
I just worry about hygeine items on lockdown. If he cannot go out of his cell has he been almost 3 months w/o soup and toothpaste YUCK
