Ok-I know I am not the only one who does this......right?
How many of you look at the MDOC offender search just to look at your man? I look at the site everyday just hoping that I will see something different then the night before. But, I still look at the site to see my baby cuz it's the most recent picture that I have! (how sad is that?)
So, am I the only one? :) How many of you check out the site every day?

Well I check Joey on FDOC everyday, just to see if he's still here !!! In 1 year, they changed his picture once. I don't like the new one so much, he looks so sad !! :(

Thanks to FDOC, I knew when he was in the hole, and the only day I didn't check, they transferred him to another facility, and of course, it was this day I sent him books !!! :argh Hopefully they will forward them.

I look but I hate his picture. He looks mad. Who can blame him. They don't even have his name spelled right and they refuse to change it. I'm always afraid they've moved him somewhere, so I check to make sure he is still there.

HE HATES THE PIC BUT I DON'T SEE HIM AS THAT PARTICULAR PIC, I SEE HIM AS I REMEMBER HIM, MY GUY, THE GUY I LOVE AND AM WAITING FOR! :) SURE, I LOOK HOPING IT WILL SAY, HE'S ON HIS WAY HOME TODAY!! :D SILLY ME!!

If I'm into the site checking for something/someone else, I'll bring him up.

Sometimes I bring up my ex and either gloat or thank him for treating me so badly....because of him, I met my Dragon - the love of my life.

I don't check the Kansas DOC site daily....but I do admit to pulling it up now and then. Sometimes it's to look at his picture (which I do not like--he has a shaved head and an inappropriately cocky grin), other times it's to check his status, and make sure he isn't transferred suddenly.

Yes I have looked at it but it's a terrible picture so I'd rather not see it! But I do go on there from time to time to check out people he talks about.

That is how I began my correspondence... I wasn't looking for a pen pal, but trying to find a friend on the inside when I came across her profile and that's how it all began... Her picture for a MDOC pic is stunning! But, I don't pull it up everyday or anything... I wouldn't rule it out down the road though! (haha)

She did tell me that a lot of the women prisoners are getting mail now because of the website. But, I was the first to write her through the website! Lucky aren't I?

I look at my mans picture any time I'm near a computer. It always shocks me because he has a beard and hair in the picture and I'm use to him clean shaven and he bics his head.

Honestly, I don't look at it every day, but I have it saved in my favorites so that I don't have to go through all the search and stuff. I thought it was a little wierd for me to do - but now I see I'm not alone.

I look at my man every day!!Even though I told him he looks like a mean mother fuc***!! He didn't remember the pic so I sent it to him! Unfortunately that is his best pic(the others were right after he had gotten out of the HOLE-not shaven) And i use that pic to show my kids-they don't see him as being mean.The girls say he's cute.lol

The name Mr. Dragon is really appropriate for my husbands MDOC photo....red eyes and all. They even had his eyes listed as red on his information for over a year!!! He looks like he's ready to rip the head off the photographer!

I think its an unwritten rule.....don't smile, don't say cheese, but do glare, look mean and growl a little.

I have to say I look at my brothers pic at least once a day and I know my older sister does the same. Also mabear----think about it, if his name is spelled wrong maybe it will be easier for him in the future as others won't be able to find him by searching the correct spelling. I think I would leave the spelling error alone.

My husband's picture looks awful. I don't look him up online. If I met him in the world and he looked like that, I would be afraid of him. :-)

ok i'm not in Michigan but Illinois has a site where you can look at the pic. when Shawn and I were together I use to look at it often and talk to it. i was crazy about him. I even took his face and put it on another body so that I can show my friends my boyfriend. now I check the site to see if he has gotten out or not. he looks so ashamed and tearful in his recent pic since he has gone back in. he's lost in his eyes.

I check out my old man once in awhile. I downloaded him to my computer, so that I could look at him anytime I wanted to and not have to get online. It's great for my kids. They get to look at him all day long if they want. I now have pictures with him, since he's been locked up. They are on the wall over my computer. I can look at him all the time now. And my kids see him also. It is my only picture of us together. I'm also glad that I'm not the only one.

update: they changed Joey's pic during the week end !! :) he's cuter sweeter and more handsome than ever !!! :D

Yes I admit I look everyday. And when I'm not looking my daughter comes up and says "daddy" So then I have to look. I check to see if he has been moved to level I. Or any neww info, but of course there never is. :( Oh well maybe soon.

I look everyday even though its an old picture and he looks like crap and weighs about 60 lbs less then usual. I look mainly to see if there is anything different on there, its a habit I guess. He probably is starting to look a lot like that picture these days.

Hi everyone I do go to the MDOC inmate search and all it gives me is his location and max rls date no photo of my baby am I doing the right search or do some inmates not have photos?:pissed:

some dont have photos, but keep checking cause they will use the photo that is on his id pass in the prison and it will probably be up there evenually.

Are you clicking on his inmate number? The first screen comes up with just name, rank and serial number and then click on the inmate number and it will then go to the page with their photo and score card. :)

Thanks you guys I found my baby looking terribly sad I read so many emotions in his eyes I began to cry feeling so sad by the look on his face I don't think I will be able to go back to the site made me just want to hold and squeeze him tight and tell him every thing would be alright :(
