My husband has a parole hearing July 21, 2005. I will be speaking before the board. Has anyone here ever done that and could offer suggestions?

If the board member is coming to the unit I can tell you what might happen. When my husband went infront of a board member he just asked me why I wanted my husband home. I was scared that I was going to have to give this big long speach but I was wrong. He just asked me one or two questions and that was it. He asked my husband why HE thought he should be freed.

just be honest and humble. think about any points you want to make and concentrate on saying only that - you wont get much time to talk.
