I would like to share the letter i recived from my son's cellmate on death row,as you know my son was moved to another facility and no longer a cellmate with him but he stays in touch with my son and i.Here is the letter he wrote to me.
Dear Mom,
How are you fine i hope and pray.Just a few lines to say thank you for all the things that you do for me.Mom i love you and john with all my heart and soul.I wrote John and ask him i hope your mother don't mind if i call her mom.I have no mother I have a father he try to send me money ever 6 months i have a sister that is real sick and she can not send me no money because she has to bye medicine.And john know this and since he knows what i am up against that why he ask you to help me.Mom you know when he write me sometimes he be crying and he tell me that he want to come back here with me but you know what know what i told him to go home and be with your mother.When i go to court in August if i get the death sentence this time i will have about one year left maybe.I hope that i can be around to see john when he gets out because he promise me that you and him was coming down to see me.Since he has been gone he has been gone i have gotten 6 maybe 7 letters and he always tell me how much he miss me.I miss him so much he ask me if i wanted him to go to another penitentary i told him yes.But deep down inside i cryed when they come to get him We was good cellmates now i am left with memory and a half of a heart.Mom i miss him more than life its self my life is nothing without my little brotherr john.Mom you know before john met me he did not like black and he had just got out of the hole and me and one of my friends and me was cooking some food at the microwave and i ask him was he hungry and he said yes and i went to my room and got him what i was eating.that's how we became friends.We became cellies and we always said that if one of us get into a fight we would help one another and that's what we did.Well mom thank you for the prison talk online i did get the other pictures that you sent only 5 pages of printed material are allowed per envelope.And the mail room said that i will have to send them a stamped envelope with your name on it within 30 days os when i get out the hole i will send the pictures to you ok.Well it is getting about time for bed time don't you ever forget that i love as you was my own mother for ever and always.
