BOISE -- A prisoner who escaped June 19th from a Boise jail is coming back to Idaho.
Harlan James Hale was caught Monday morning near Lyman, Wyoming, after he led multiple law enforcement agencies there on a chase.
The 39-year-old Hale, charged in Idaho with attempted murder, assault and drug crimes, waived extradition proceedings in Uinta County during a 15-minute hearing this morning.
As a result, Ada County sheriff's deputies will be able to retrieve their prisoner sometime during the next ten days.
Uinta County prosecutor Michael Greer says Hale could face armed robbery charges in Wyoming for allegedly stealing a truck at gunpoint.
Hale spent ten days on the run before being caught.
He had escaped the Ada County jail by breaking free from two guards, busting through a door and scaling a fence to freedom, where he stole a car.
