Hi there, my name is Karen and I am a student at Middlesex Community College in Massachusetts. I am writing a research paper on Women in Prison and Their children.

The main focus of my paper is going to be on the visitaion with children and the programs that are set up for women to reunite with their children when they are released. I am also trying to find out what programs are in place that help a mother while she is incarcerated to maintain contact with her children. I would like to hear from anybody who is or has been involved in any such program. Maybe someone here is a caregiver to a child whose mother is in prison. I would love to hear some personal stories. There are a few ladies here that are going to enter prison in the near future--I hope they can help you..as for myself my childrens father is in prison..if we can be of any other help let us know..Good Luck with your paper!
