Again. Anyone else having problems? Outgoing mail isn't delayed. It's the incoming. I sent a mo and card on 6-10 and as of 6-27 my relative didn't have it. I sent a card on 6-23 telling him a special package was ordered that day but he hadn't gotten that card either. Or the package but that wouldn't have delivered to the prison until 6-27. It only takes 3 days for mail to get to Tehachapi from where I am but I don't expect it to get to actually get to him in under 2 weeks. But it's ridiculous when it's over three weeks. Mail from 6-10 still not given out by 6-27? I purposely sent a card to make it easy reading for staff. Long letters sit in stacks longer if staff is short-handed or just not in the mood. Anyone else?

I think it's everywhere in the California prisons because I'm having the same problem with Folsom. I get letters from my husband in 2 to 4 days of him writting them but mine going in can take up to 2 months to get to him. I sent a stationery package to him and it took 2 1/2 months to finally get to him. I'm not sure if we complain to the prison it's self or we need to go higher. Yes I realize they need to check all incoming mail but even a blind person could move the mail faster than it is now!
