Scheduled Execution: Thursday, May 9, 2002,
6:00 pm CT, Huntsville, Texas
(NCADP) -- Reginald Reeves, a 26-year-old black male, is
scheduled to be executed on May 9 in the state of Texas.
Reeves was convicted of the 1994 murder of Jenny Weeks
and sentenced to death the following year at age 19.
Reginald Reeves committed the murder after running away
from a group home, four days prior to the crime. He has no
past criminal record. Please contact the state of Texas to
protest the execution of this youthful offender.

It is a good idea to listen to a news radio station on
the afternoon of an execution, such as KTRH 740AM in
Houston in case there might be a stay (not likely,
but always possible).
There will be protests in front of the Walls Unit at
Huntsville at 5:30 PM. For those who have not been
before, exit 45 North at Hwy 190 and go east. Walls
Unit is just past downtown Huntsville on the right.
