Can you believe it???? I am still sanding my hardwood floors and I can't get the black stains out????:angry: I have used bleach...I have used all kinds of products..No luck.. If I keep sanding I won't have any wood left..Help...Do I paint the floors with a color or is there something I can use to get the black off the floor..My x-roommate pour oil on the rug and it went into the wood..Got the oil off but not the stains..I'll try anything....:help:...

It has probally soakesd deep into the wood, so deep you can't just sand off the top layer. If you decide to paint it a diff color you may want to put kilt on first cause that will help stop it from bleeding through the new paint, and will also require you to use less paint layers, I know this isin;t to helpful, but hope it helps a little..:cool:

Is the bleach you used actually wood bleach? They sell that at home improvement stores and I have had some luck with it. I also just ended up staining a bit darker than before to help hide the black that remained.
