Nope... they are still on lockdown. I call daily to check and the last message was dated June 18th. All we can do is WAIT, and WAIT and WAIT:)

My son has only been at Old Folsom since March. This is our first lockdown experience. Is it normal for a lockdown to be this long??? Is there some psychology behind these long lockdowns??? Or have they periodically been let off lockdown to see if things have cooled down but trouble still exists so they are back on lockdown??? This is so frustrating. I hope I don't have 4 years of this... I guess you just have to get used to it and cherish the visits that you do get. I guess I got spoiled right from the beginning getting to see my son every 2 weeks.

Still waiting and calling the visiting line often. I now know the main telephone numbe my heart. Ha Ha :D Charme

My husband has been there since January and this is the first lockdown for us too... I was hoping we would get it good and not have any long one's while he is there...but this threw that out the door. I have talked to a few people and a lady I work with said her friend was on and off lockdown all the time at Old Folsom and he was there for 15 years.... He just got transferred to Solano... I hear that is a lot more relaxed prison. I wish they would get off lockdow. I miss my hubby!!!! Plus we just got approved for family visits but now we can't have one until they get off lockdown!

Unfortunately they have been let off a couple of times and incidents kept occuring so now they're stuck on lockdown for awhile. I know we've been at OF since Dec 03 - and this is the longest I've seen anyone on lockdown. Last summer my husband was on lockdown for a month and that was the worst... But it is (unfortunately) somewhat normal for this to go on. Some prisons are even worse. The worst part is that it's only a few people and everyone has to suffer for it - but that's prison. I hope they can hurry up and work out their differences for all of your sakes.
