Yeah ladies... I have been enjoying a birthday weekend! I turned 20 on Saturday so I was out and about... My birthday visit was Friday, then Clifton Hill on Saturday with my Mom and Dad! I had a great time!

The visit was grrrrrreat... Lotsa silly times! But, also hard. Joe has been especially moody lately, although he doesn't seem to think so. :rolleyes: But, overall - things are great!

OK... now the interview news. Now it is funny that ya mention Em with that. Now, here's the thing... Em kept me from getting the job right now!!?!? :blah: Yeah. Lemme tell ya why...

OK, the interview was going great. I have experience with disabled students so she was loving that. I was flying through it with no probs! She had all the faith that I could do the job etc. Things are fine! We are flying through paper work.... Then, she tells me there is an 11 day training. I was aware of that BUTTTTTTT during that week of training is when the Eminem concert is. :eek: It was like the 9th to somethin'... I would have had training 8:30-4:00 everyday during the 11 days. I leave for Eminem on the 12th early in the morning and don't come home 'til the next day. THAT IS A BIG PROBLEM!?!?!?! I let her know that I was going out of town. Well that's when it started to go a bit down hill. I can't miss training obviously, AND NO WAY AM I MISSING EMINEM!?!?!? Sorry. I have already paid for the tix. The preparations are all set... etc. Sooooooooooooooo, that was out. Then, the next training was the end of August... I am in school, so that was out.

SOOOOOOO, the next training is at the end of October. NOW, I still am wanted for the job, BUT I have to do the whole process over again with the app and interview?!!? SUCKS!!! But, she says that she can almost guarantee that the position that we had talked about would be open (if not, I can get another position) and that I can call and schedule an appointment in October and sign up for training after, and go from there!

SOOOOO, yeah, it sucks. It was kind of a waste, but at the same time, it all works out much better! This gives me time to talk with my job now and figure that all out, as far as how I am going to frop status... give them notice, plus by the time I start the new job, Joe will be home. I don't have to worry about taking time off for his homecoming... and I also have to go to CA for my Uncle's wedding in the beginning of October (did I tell ya that, yet?), so now I don't have to take time off for that. I will be starting the job all new and after all the big stuff in my life! :D So, it all works out for the best.

I just hate that I have to be at my job now for another 2 months!?!? YUCK. I really needed the extra work and pay with this new one, BUT I am happy with the way things worked out.

So, that is that... the BIG story! But, I enjoyed the interview. Not too bad. Not a hard process, and now I am prepared for the next one! ALWAYS A POSITIVE!

jftazzy102 ------ Hello! Ya know?? Actually, I can speak for both Joe and I --- it hasn't hit us yet! He keeps telling me the same thing... He's like, "It won't hit me 'til I am walking out of these gates..." and I can completely relate to that. As for me, I keep counting down to the visits, which are also dwindling! We only have like 4 visits at the most, to go! :D It feels so good to say that... but other than that, I keep busy with LOTS of work... and I have a busy August ahead so this month will flyyyy! Then at the end of the month, school starts back up! Things are going so quick for me! For him, nahhhh... things are slowing down big time! :( :blah: But, we are doing wonderful.

There have been little phases along the way that ya might go through. Back at the 6 month mark or so, Joe was just going crazy, emotionally. He was so touchy about everything and defensive and irritated by everything. He would just act so out of character, unappreciative, and have the "I don't care" attitude. It drove me insane!?!? I finally said, "Look, this needs to stop! I can't handle all this crap!" and he changed quickly... so ya might find that along the way as it gets closer to your honey coming home... Now, we are in the "Just want to be home" stage! I think that is the one we will remain in for the rest of the time! Things have looked up and we are doing great!

So, stay busy! It seriously does fly! :D :D :D

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ladiesssss! HELLO!

I'm sorry I haven't been around... AJ and I went out on the town for the last few days. We last all track of time... a jacuzzi and all of that will do it to ya!!? ;) :D :haha: HAHAHAHAAAAAA! Oh, how I wishhh! Man oh man. That concert was amazing! I cannot even express in words how wonderful that night was! AMAZING? WONDERFUL? SPECTACULAR? PERFECT? I have no words to express how AWESOME it was. SUCH a good time at that concert. Everything about it was perfect. They performed so well and with such joy and happiness. They all had smiles on their faces at all times, and believe me --- so did I. :D Still grinning, three days later. They put on an unforgettable show and I am blessed that I was able to go and see my boys again! They have inspired my life in so many ways, so to see them just go all out for the fans... :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: I appreciated every second! O0oo0o0O0 girls... LOVED IT! They were absolutely gorgeous and of course, their voices were beeeeeautiful... So sad that it is over... but Luda and Em are coming up this week! :)

Other than that... same ol'. Work, and work some more... BUT there is new drama to add to the never ending list of PRISON CRAP. Joe has been going through a lot. He has been trying his absolute best to stay out of trouble and concentrate on his homecoming, but some guys in there are making that VERY difficult for him. Well ladies, I am happy and proud to know that Joe has stayed out of trouble. He told me he 'walked away' from the situation and is keeping focused on his coming home in FORTY NINE days! We are on the downward slope!! FINALLY!! You don't know how proud I was of him today when he was explaing the HELL of the situation he was going through, and how he decided to just leave it, and move on. The way he thinks now is just so much different from how he used to be --- and it makes me proud that he is my super intelligent hubby! So, I am just keeping the faith in my Joe that he will keep on behaving like a good boy! ;)

The visit was wonderful today, although I was rather sleepy the whole time because I am on a few different meds for a sinus infection and allergies. Fun, wow. I knew all the runnin' around would catch up to me eventually. I have been working a lot and not getting enough sleep... and now I am sick. But, I am feeling better. I just wanted to get to the Doctor (I went Monday...) so I could get the meds so I wouldn't get Joe sick and so I wouldn't be bad for Em. So, I am feeling better and am ready to enjoy LUDA tomorrow and EM the next day! :D :D :D

OK, well I know everyone wants to know how the concert was... IT WAS FANTASTIC! I loved it tons!! It really was a fun time! Just being there in his hometown and seeing all the love again was remarkable! Plus, the trip there and back was great, too! Marj --- you know I will give ya more details later! And - BTW - I couldn't touch him from my seats but the seats were actually good seats! ...So there was no fondling going on, unfortunately but he looked DAMN gooooooooood, great, fabuloussssss! Sexy, sexy man! LOVE HIM! Plus, 'Lil Jon was great... surprisingly. I don't like him but he is a good performer. Pitbull was there, too and that man is another sexy one! YUMMY! ...I wasn't really into 50 too much. I had just seen him the night before and I was impatient... I wanted to see Em badly! But, there's a little rundown....... AWESOME TRIP!! Once in a lifetime thing and I loved it!

Hello everyone!

I just need to vent right now. I am going through so much, and it is all building up and I feel like I am going to explode?!!

First off, Joe and I saw each other last Wednesday. We had agreed that he'd call Sunday... so, Sunday comes. He calls, and after about 3 minutes, he says --- "They're telling me I have like 3 minutes to get off the phone. I'll call tomorrow... I love you. Bye." OK, fine. It happens all the time... But, then Monday comes and I wait around and no phone call. Tuesday comes, no call. Wednesday, no call. Today comes --- and surprise! NO CALL. I have been in the house waiting by the phone constantly. I hate it. I feel stranded here, but I know if I go out, I will miss the call and I really need to talk to him! I called the prison today to make sure he was OK, and his counselor said everything was fine. So, atleast he is OK. He does have phone priveleges, so it leaves me wondering. WHY ISN'T HE CALLING?? It is making me insane. No letters... no calls. I have to wait 'til Wednesday for another visit --- our three year anniversary! So, that is making me nuts...

Over the weekend, I found out my best friend, who is a U.S. Marine, is leaving for Iraq in two weeks!!!? We had expected Iraq, but not in two weeks?! She is getting married this weekend and I will not be able to be there for her. I can't just pick up and fly on down to N.C.?! This short notice stuff sucks... So, now she will be leaving me within the next few weeks for 8 months and here I am, stuck. I hate this. Plus, I find out another firend of mine is leaving soon for Saudi Arabia with the Air Force. I swear --- one thing after another.

I am just blessed to know that Joe will be home soon, so at least I will have someone?! I feel alone right now, and depressed and irritated. I want to scream, and had to tell someone!!? I neeeeeed Joe to call so I can express my feelings to him and have him comfort me or something about the different situations I am going through... UGH.

Please pray for us, ladies! I appreciate it.

So, that's the vent. Now, I know that compared to what some of you are going through --- my situation is nothing, but I just had to let it all out! Any advice or encouragement --- something???

He is completely fine. He has been having probs with those same guys again but so far he has kept out of trouble, although I know it is difficult for him. But, I pray that he continues to behave! Pray with me, ladies! ...As for why he could not use the phone... :rolleyes: They were doing construction on the roof and the phones were shut down. If it isn't one thing, it's another there. GEEZ! Have me all worried --- just to fix a roof! But, he is great. We're great, and I am so happy! I can't wait 'til our visit in 4 days! It is our THREE YEAR anniversary, so I can't wait to share that day with him!

Ahhhh, the visit was FANTASTIC! Tons of tongue love!! :o :p ;) I am so happy! It was a great day for our Three Year! We had a wonderful time!!

While I was there, they had to pull him into a separate room so he could sign his papers and get pics and fingerprints done to be RELEASED on September 29th! It is official. I love it! It was such a great moment when he came back... He was smiling so bright, he blinded me! :p He is so excited to come home! ME TOO, DUH! After the visit, I went back home and to Bon Ton to get him some clothes. My friend and I picked out quite a few things, so doing that was great... It was like --- WOW. This is real. :eek: :D So, good day!

Today, I worked. YUCK. But I am home now... Then at 7:45 in the a.m. I will be at work, AGAIN. So sick of that place!? :blah:

I am sitting here, hanging out... I just came from school, and am going back in like 25 minutes. The first class was OK. Nutrition... The teacher seems very cool. Seems to be an easy class. I know you had a rough teacher/class with Nutrition, Marj, so I was nervous but it seems like it will be an OK class.

Next up, *HIDES* Math. UGHHHHH. :eek: :blah: Ewwww! I hate Math... then Drug Use & Abuse followed by Sociology. So, seems to be OK now... I just have to get used to being on a routine. I am so used to being up all night online, and all that, during the summer.

The C.O. didn't call for him... so that knocked out like 2 hours of the visit. :eek: WTF?? So irritating. But, we had fun! We played lots of games and cards... changed it up! Usually it is just him and I talking... This time, it was more focus on having fun with Jus and Kairstin. So, next time I will have him all to myself and enjoy more tongue love! :D GREAT TIME!
