There have been rumors that a female guard was raped by three inmates Friday evening. This has caused the prison officials to not only lock max down, but they don't know what to do to keep the incident contained. I received two birthday cards from my husband today that were opened and taped back by the prison. I didn't even get the information of the incident from him, I got it from one of the other female guards. I called and asked why my mail was opened and was told it was for security purposes. It seems their security's tossed out of the window. I told them that if it's procedure to check the mail before it goes out than they either need a scanning device or the need to inform the inmates not to seal the mail if they want it sent. I also said that if I receive anymor mail that's tampered with I will be up there with my lawyer and a news crew. It's not just the mail. I'm really pissed that they locked down all of max over Father's Day weekend so they could keep it all hush-hush. What other than the female guard's identity are they trying to hide. Was it something that they didn't do right to make this attack possible? I think something more is going on.
