David, an acquaintance of mine, stopped by my home looking for my brother first time in several months. He said he's in trouble. We discussed for a few hours from about 7p to 9:45p tonight. So the basics that I can share wit y'all people are that he had gun powder, fuses, grenades with holes shut at the bottom, containers, and what have you's... Nothing drug-related. He has a passion for military stuff and used to dress in camoflage when growing up. He isn't violent AT ALL. If police are to raid his house, he'd probably stay still instead of getting in a shoot-out with them! Anyhoo, the militia/gun store down the street from his residency got suspected and reported him. The city police came and took all his stuff. A month later, he got arrested on his way to work! He was so scared that he fainted! He woke up in the jail booking room. They told him that he had a $30,000 bail with 10%, but he didn't have to pay $3,000 because they let him go. The county jail here is already congested. He's a first timer and is awaiting trial date. He's very, very, very worried about his own sake. He hopes he doesn't have to do jail/prison time. He is in process of picking out a good lawyer.. He lives with his parents, has an average-looking vehicle, has a job, and has a mild learning disability... Soo, basically, I'm asking all of you out there if you did or you knew anyone who got convicted for having explosive ingredients in their possession??? What kind of consequences is David looking at? Personally, I think he might do 2 years' time or get a HUGE fine or get on probation with weekly call-ins for next few years? I'm praying....
