The lovely MDOC told Robert that he is signed up for GED testing. Meaning, they want him to take his GED. Now here's the funny part-he already has his high school diploma and some college credits. But, they don't seem to care about that. They have his college transcripts, but apparently they don't understand that one has to have a high school doploma or GED to beable to go to college? So tomorrow I am contacting his high school and having them fax AND send his transcripts to the prison. I am also having them fax a copy to me so I will have it just in case the DOC decides to misplace theirs. Problem is, we have to do this FAST! Nothing like informing him of this just before he sees the board right? Geeze!

MDOC SEEMS TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT, DOESN'T THAT SUCK! HOPE IT WORKS OUT FOR YOU ON THIS ISSUE.:)
We had to do the same thing when Bill first went in. Obviously he had a high school diploma too as he has college....idiots.

But on the positive side.........at least getting the GED is a primary concern of theirs!!!!! Most states don't even do that!

We have just the opposite problem. Rob has been trying to get his GED for months and they keep delaying the process. lol. Yet they yell him he has to have it in order to be eligible for parole. Good Luck!
