Do you have any nicknames for your friends? I keep wanting to call my pals "sweetie", but I'm not sure that would be approperiate. Haha. Do you have any "pet" names that are? I'm from Norway, and it is impossible to translate the words I would use in my own language to English, because you use the words differently. :)

I think sweetie would be ok, especially if he was in Texas, they use Sweetie ALOT!!!

My Texas pals call me Sweetie all the time, they use that name religiously with me, in letters and at visitation. I call them sweetie back but only when I visit them, I don't think I've ever called them that in a letter, I don't know why.

I have to agree with Kyla, everyone down here uses "Sweetie" I use it with my friends all the time.
