Angela was 14 when she went in, and she was put into a full-fledged prison at 17. I'm curious about the mentality and/or personality of someone who is put through this kind of situation.
She is aware of those around her trying to assert their influence on her. I try to reassure her that being true to herself is fairest for everyone.
She has some obvious (and some not so obvious) developmental setbacks. For instance, she still looks on things from a child's point of view often, and she has abit of insecurity in dealing with others.
Angela is 19 now, and in until 2016 in all likelihood. I am wondering what may be common changes I can expect to see, as well as ways of dealing with them? Also, does can anyone who has direct experience in this type of situation please PM me? I'd appreciate some real help here.
Thanks :)
