NAMPA -- The Nampa police department raided the wrong duplex Wednesday.
Officers on a drug bust threw a powerful noisemaking device through the unit's window, then stood outside with their guns drawn.
The resident, John Simpson, was convinced he was under attack.
He says he hit the floor of his home, and took his wife down with him.
Then, he ran out of the apartment with a vacuum hose to defend himself.
Nampa police explain the flub this way: One of their officers just got the wrong window.
They say they've fixed the broken glass.
What's more, they arrested Simpson's neighbor, a 20-year-old whom they plan to charge with possession of four ounces of marijuana.
