The Inmate Locator is a database that contains information about each inmate currently under the jurisdiction of the Department of Corrections. The Inmate Locator is a useful tool for learning where an inmate is housed, the inmate's race, date of birth, marital status and other items. The Inmate Locator does not contain information on inmates not currently residing in a state correctional institution.
The information posted on this website is limited in order to ensure compliance with the Pennsylvania Criminal History Record Information Act (CHRIA), 18 Pa. C.S.A. Section 9101 et seq. CHRIA limits the type of criminal justice information that may be disseminated to the public.
