I moved in a new apartment and the kitchen shares a wall with a neighbor with a filthy dirty apartment, I mean when there door is open in smells in the hallway.
I am having a cockroach problem in the kitchen where we join walls, its so gross, I put down roach motels, and boric acid, I called the apartment office and they sprayed last month and this month, I spray Raid which smells terrible around the baseboards.
I take my trash out every evening and in the morning, we bleach the counters, leave nothing out, put things in tupperware or fridge, I leave nothing out. Sweep and bleach the floors. I bought one of those bombs but what do I do with all our plates and our silverware, I worry about these pesticides and my children.
Any suggestions please, it is awful.
The lady next door OMIGOD when the apartment door is open there is trash every where on the counters and kitchen you can see crap all over and bags of garbage lined up, I told the office. Other then this hideous problem we have such a nice apartment.

Oh heck no! I'd demand the apt. managers do something about it or you will call the county, there has to be some health code violations in there (the neighbors apt.)
You pay good money to live in a nice place and should not have to worry about smells or creepy crawleys from next door.Other then that I don't have any suggestions sorry I cant be of more help!

My sister had the worst pest problem in the world; so bad that if you went to her house, you left your purse in the car and stood up the entire time you were there. LOL Anyway, exterminators didn't even help, then her sister-in-law told her about this gel that she used that would get rid of them and they'll never come back. Believe me when I say my sister's house should have been condemned, no correction, it should have been burned down, it was so bad. LOL

Well, the stuff actually worked. After two applications, it's been close to three years, and she's hasn't seen one bug since. She lives in a house, so you'll probably have to use it more often since your in an apartment and your wall is connected to the culprit of the pest problem, but at least with it being a gel it won't be airborne.

I just called her to ask her what the stuff was and she said it's a brown gel in a tube by Combat that she purchased at WalMart or WalGreens.

I'm going to see if I can't find more info on it online.

Ok, here we go: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100530&navAction=jump&navCount=0&skuid=sku303951&id=prod3951

Thank you, I can go to Walmart for sure and get it, I will try anything. The problem is if they move those dirty people out next door, they will exterminate their apartment before they rent it out and then chase all the cockroaches over to other apartments, they should tent the building I think, but other people in our building say they do not have the problem, it is me and the people above that apartment and across the hall from it.
