My dear friend "Tiny" in Polunsky lost his father June 12th. I was thinking people could write him a message here that I can print out and send him in a few days. Death row is a cold and lonely place to be - and I can only imagine how much harder everything is when they lose someone close to them.

Thanks in advance to those of you who wants to help me lift my friend's spirit.

Hello Tiny...I am so sorry to here about the loss of your Dad. I lost my Mom last year so I know how hard it is. Just know your Father lives on in your heart, and in Heaven. And someday you will be together again. You will be in my prayers...God Bless You and may your Dad rest in peace.

Words cannot express my sincere condolences for the sorrow and anguish you must feel upon the tragic loss of your father. I only wish I knew what to say to take your pain away at this very difficult time. I don’t know your religious beliefs but try talking (quietly) to your father and you may be able to feel his energy with you, for life and death are much closer than we think. Tell him everything you wanted to say but never did.

I pray for peace for you and the strength for you to get through your very difficult situation, but know it’s okay to cry too, for it is the body’s natural healing response to despair and grief.

If anyone would like to write Lee and share your thoughts i know he will enjoy all the mail. He has lost his grandfather, and aunt and now his father while he has been at the Polunsky unit. Lee, we love you very much and if you would like to talk please send me a letter. I only want what is best for you and i will always do what i can to help you. Your dad had a wonderful service and alot of family members showed their respect to him. It was hard on all of us because he was a good man and he really did love you. And his father passed away on Saturday June 11th and was 48 years old.
