I just talked to my dad and he said, that he heard on the news that there was something happening between the Crypts and Whites. Does anyone know anything about this? He didn't say whether it was Old Folsom or new.:confused:

yes there is a big mess at old folsom whites and blacks are having some issues and everytime someone is let off lockdown they throw blows at the other side and the lockdown starts all over again.....

Old Folsom has been on Lockdown for Whites and Blacks since May 16th. I wish they would settle down and learn to get along so we can all visit our loved ones. This is the first Lockdown experience I have had since my son was transferred to Old Folsom in March. It is very frustrating :(. I call at least twice a day to see if the Lockdown is over. I can now almost recite the Spanish announcement on the visiting line by heart and I don't even know Spanish!!!! (Spanish announcement is first, followed by English). I don't even have to wait for the English version. LOL :D

I am sorry to report that Lt. Trujillo said this morning "that an incident
occurred when blacks and whites were given the opportunity to go to the yard
tohether for the first time. This incident unfortunately set back the rturn to
normal programming. Due to this incident, there will not be visiting for the
black and white inmates this weekend".

So we are back to square one and probably in for a long summer :(

This is Keith and I first lockdown also. and god willing last 22 and a wake up, I just hope he can steer clear of this mess untill he comes home!!

What I heard was that they got let off - and immediately problems started, don't know the details but it sounds like someone got stabbed and they had to bring in ambulances. It doesn't look like the tension will be cleared anytime soon and word is that it's likely they'll be locked down for the summer.

Gosh Just To Think About My Brother Being Hurt There Freaks Me Out~! Hugs To The Family Of The Injured. Heard It Was Bldg 3 And 5 On Yard Did You Also Hear The Same??

I didd'nt ask which building - but did hear somthing about the yard. I have the impression that there may have been more than one incident, but can't be sure - I'll find out this weekend if no one posts it before then

I hate hearing this stuff. I think my son is in building 3. It makes me very nervous for him. To think that visiting will be impacting for the summer. That's a very long time. Here's hoping that they can cool down and resolve their issues. Hopefully, we will get more details after those that can visit this weekend find out any details.:)
